Kiwiland Construction Website Case Study
We rebuilt this Auckland construction website around renovations, extensions, and new builds, supported by project photography and a clear consultation enquiry path.
Project Overview
A quality Auckland construction team, with a website that wasn't winning work.
Kiwiland Construction is an Auckland-based team specialising in residential renovations, extensions, and new builds. Led by Steven, the team bring together trusted tradespeople and project managers to deliver quality finishes on time and within budget.
The existing website did not clearly distinguish what type of work Kiwiland handled or how a homeowner should enquire. The goal was to create three clear buyer journeys, renovations, extensions, and new builds, each with its own focused page and consultation path.
The Challenge
Homeowners couldn't find them, and those who did couldn't figure out what to do next.
Residential construction buyers typically begin with searches such as “renovation company Auckland”, “home extension North Shore”, and “new build builders Auckland”. The previous site had no dedicated pages aligned with those services, no project portfolio, and no clear call to action beyond a basic contact email.
The construction buyer journey is also longer than most, homeowners are making significant financial commitments and want to see finished project examples, understand the process, and feel confident about who they're inviting into their home. None of those trust signals were present on the old site.
What We Built
Three buyer journeys, a project portfolio, and lean performance.
We built dedicated pages for renovations, extensions, and new builds, each written for the homeowner in that specific situation, with a project gallery section and an inline consultation enquiry form. The homepage guides visitors to the right service section immediately, with four persistent CTAs across the site.
The build was optimised for performance with lean code, compressed images, and structured metadata including HomeImprovement schema markup. Each service page gives homeowners relevant information and a direct route to discuss their project.
The Results
Three clear journeys for Auckland homeowners planning building work.
The finished website separates renovations, extensions, and new builds so homeowners can quickly find the relevant service. Project imagery provides tangible proof of the team’s work, while the enquiry form gives prospective clients a clear next step.
