Barrett Access Scaffolding Website Case Study
We rebuilt this Auckland scaffolding website around three distinct customer groups, with sector-specific service paths, clearer project information, and an online quote calculator.
Project Overview
A quality scaffolding firm with a website that wasn't telling their story.
Barrett Access Scaffolding provides access solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors in Auckland. They had the experience and the crew, but their old website treated all three sectors identically, with a single generic page and a basic contact form.
Homeowners doing a reclad, builders on a commercial site, and industrial facility managers all have different questions, budgets, and timelines. The old site answered none of them specifically. The goal: rebuild the site to speak to each sector individually and capture quote requests directly online.
The Challenge
One generic page was losing three different types of customer.
A homeowner searching for "residential scaffolding Auckland" and a site foreman searching for "commercial scaffolding hire Auckland" both ended up on the same undifferentiated page. Neither got the specific information they needed, dimensions, pricing ranges, lead times by project type, so many moved on to competitors with clearer, sector-specific information.
The existing contact form asked only for a name and phone number. No job type, no site details, no urgency indicator. Every enquiry required a callback to gather basic information, and callbacks don't always happen. A significant portion of leads were leaking at this stage.
What We Built
Sector landing pages and an online quote calculator.
We created three dedicated landing pages, residential, commercial, and industrial, each written for the specific audience and their specific concerns. Each page includes project type examples, typical scope, lead times, and an inline quote request form that captures the information needed to provide a real quote without a callback.
The quote calculator on the residential page lets homeowners enter their scaffolding dimensions and receive an indicative price range before making contact. The supporting form also collects the job details the team needs for a more useful first conversation.
The Results
A clearer online path for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
The finished website gives each customer type a relevant route into the business. Visitors can understand the appropriate scaffolding service, review project information, and submit useful job details through the quote pathway on mobile or desktop.
